Carolyn Jordan

Carolyn Jordan was born in Suffolk, (UK) and has lived in France for many years. She has exhibited widely, both in America and Europe, notably Paris where she is an acclaimed and recognised artist. A strong Mediterranean influence and accomplished draughtsmanship belie the underlying solitude of people, whether alone or in groups, facing the inevitability of their lives. Probing, analytical portraits or ensuing chaos are part of a gritty ’ clin d’oeil ’ that never leave indifferent. Carolyn Jordan now works from her vast studio in Provence. Many of her paintings are in private collections across the world.
