Luigi Biagini

Luigi Biagini was born in Carrara on May 8, 1954 He prefers to photograph in black and white and, at the moment, is working primarily on the themes of environmental and landscape photography. His photos have appeared in Italian, European, and American publications. He has had exhibitions in Italy and abroad. In 1968, he began to photograph using a 35 mm camera and doing his own printing. He then passed to medium and large formatsIn 1971, in Florence, he won the first prize on the theme Environmental Transformations with the photograph entitled The White River. Subsequently, he intensified his activity, making photography his main expressive form.Since 1978, he has studied in-depth the zonal system of Ansel Adams. He has used the technique to photograph the Tuscan landscape, notably in the book entitled The White Roads.
